The property is situated on slightly elevated ground, offering a beautiful view of Lake Ammersee. The design concept draws inspiration from the traditional boathouses found along the lake's nearby western shore. The two solid-timber houses are built on stilts and clad in a ruby-red metal façade. A minimalist design language was deliberately chosen. The houses feature a primal form characterized by double gables; this archetypal shape—with its rectangular footprint and open gable structure—is widely recognized as a symbol of shelter and home, serving here as the foundation for a modern, minimalist architectural approach. Expansive glazing allows the rooms to open up completely, bringing views of the lake and mountains into the living spaces. The living areas span two levels and feature an open gallery, creating an atmosphere that is airy, bright, and spacious. The compact floor plan ensures maximum living comfort within an area of ​​80 square meters per unit.
